About Me

Designing TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Hello! My name is Kayla McGill, and I’m an instructional and graphic designer from Cincinnati, Ohio, striving to make a difference in education. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree at Northern Kentucky University, majoring in Media Informatics and minoring in the Japanese Language. After my undergrad journey, I pursued an opportunity to help guide students through successful pathways as others helped me. In 2019, I served as an AmeriCorps Ohio College Guide at Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, committing to help secondary students within Cincinnati Public Schools create pathways to success with post-secondary education and career opportunities. During my service term, I developed a passion for creating a meaningful educational experience for all types of students and decided to continue my educational journey at the University of Cincinnati. I have recently obtained a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology with a focus on Design and Development Specialization. I will continue striving to help, inspire, and empower others by creating the best educational experience for all students.
